Getting Started with Procrastination Techniques
Are you tired of being productive and getting things done? Do you yearn for the sweet release of doing nothing?
Step 1: Find a Task
First things first, you're going to need something to procrastinate on. Look for something that's not too exciting, but not so boring that it puts you to sleep. Maybe try reading a manual for a product you've owned since 2003.
- Reading the manual for your 2007 model toaster.
- Watching cat videos on YouTube.
- Browsing memes for 3 hours straight.
Step 2: Set Up Your Workstation
Now that you have something to do, set up your workstation for maximum distraction. Turn off any notifications, put on your favorite music, and grab a snack. Oh, and make sure your browser is open to at least 5 tabs at all times.
Step 3: Procrastinate Like a Pro
This is the fun part! Now that you're set up and ready to go, it's time to get down to business. Browse aimlessly, scroll through social media, and maybe even take a break to play some video games.
