Imagine a barber who not only cuts hair but also travels through time. Now, imagine he has a shop where he cuts his own hair. Does he cut his own hair? If so, then he must be in the shop, which means he can't cut his own hair. But if he can't cut his own hair, then he must not be in the shop. Which means he can cut his own hair after all, and so on ad infinitum.
This is the Barber Paradox, where the fabric of space-time is as slippery as a snake's hind legs. Don't try to solve it, just enjoy the existential crisis it'll put you through.
