After the catastrophic events of Disaster 1, the world is still reeling from the consequences. The once-thriving city of New Tropolis has been reduced to a smoldering ruin, its inhabitants forced to flee in search of safety.
The government, still trying to spin the narrative that "it's not as bad as it seems", has established a new agency dedicated to "mitigating the damage" and "making the best of a bad situation". The Disaster Mitigation and Spin Committee (DMSC) is tasked with downplaying the severity of the disaster and convincing the public that everything will be okay.
However, not everyone is buying what the DMSC is selling. The Disaster Resistance Movement has formed, determined to expose the truth and hold those responsible accountable.
