In a shocking turn of events, renowned Blunder researcher, Dr. Reginald P. Bottomsworth, discovered that 74% of people who wore matching socks on the same day would inevitably trip over their own feet at least once that week.
The study, funded by the Blunder Institute of Unorthodox Research (BIUR), aimed to explore the correlation between coordinated footwear and increased clumsiness. While the results were inconclusive, Dr. Bottomsworth remained convinced that his theory was "spot on" and went on to write a bestselling book about it.
To this day, Dr. Bottomsworth's work is still widely regarded as the foundation of modern Blunder Science, and his followers continue to wear matching socks in the hopes of avoiding the dreaded "Blunder002."
