- Take a single sentence from a climate change study and misinterpret it out of context.
- Use big words like allegedly, apparently, or according to to make it sound like a smoking gun.
- Claim it proves your point, while ignoring the actual science.
By misinterpretation, we mean, of course, making it sound like it says the opposite...
