Department of Spoilage - Professor Splinter's Methods

Our department is dedicated to finding the most creative ways to ruin your favorite video games, TV shows, and movies. We pride ourselves on our ability to identify and exploit the most sensitive plot twists, the most annoying sound effects, and the most infuriating character arcs.

Professor Splinter's personal philosophy is that the best way to appreciate art is to desecrate it. He has spent decades honing his skills in the art of spoilage, and his methods are the envy of his colleagues (or so he claims).

We're a bit of an enigmatic institution, even among our own peers. Some say we're a cult, some say we're a pranksters' playground. We say we're the vanguard of modern entertainment criticism.

Our methods are a trade secret, but we'll give you a glimpse into our research papers and case studies. Just don't say we didn't warn you.

Methodology

Step 1: Identify the most egregious plot hole

Step 2: Amplify the plot hole until it becomes a black hole

Step 3: Document the ensuing catastrophe

And then, of course, there's step 4: Profit from the ruin.
