Competitor Rules - DeepSeaSurfingChampionships

Competitors, listen up! To participate in the esteemed DeepSeaSurfingChampionships, you must adhere to the following rules:

Rule 1: Fin-tastic Physical Condition

Competitors must be in top physical condition, with a minimum of 3 inches of fin clearance and a maximum of 2 hours of continuous surfing time without rest.

Failure to meet these requirements will result in disqualification, and you'll be forced to swim back to shore with a heavy pack of anchors tied around your ankles.

Rule 2: Surfboard Sanity

Surfboards must be in pristine condition, with a minimum of 3 layers of glossy paint and a maximum of 2 scratches per board.

Any board found to be in subpar condition will be subject to a thorough inspection, and if deemed unsuitable, will be replaced with a loaner board.

Loaner boards are available for a small fee, payable in fish sticks.

Rule 3: Wave Selection

Competitors must be able to identify and select their own wave. Failure to do so will result in a random wave assignment, chosen by our esteemed Wave Wizard.

Wave Wizard's decisions are final, and any disputes will be settled with an impromptu game of Rock-Paper-Scissors.
