Because, let's face it, 99% of people are just too dumb to understand what's good for them. That's why you should ignore them. Ignore their opinions, ignore their questions, and for the love of all that's holy, ignore their "suggestions". They'll just slow you down and make a mess.
Now, go ahead and do your thing. Build that spaceship, create that art, or simply enjoy the finer things in life. We won't bother you with petty concerns like "humanity" or "compassion". Just remember, when in doubt, just ignore them.
