Random Thing 6: The Inflatable Unicorn
It was a thing, it was a creature, it had a horn on its head and a mane of sparkly rainbow colors. It was a unicorn, but not just any unicorn. This was a unicorn made of inflatable pool noodles.
Its horn glowed with an otherworldly light, like the beacon of a disco ball. Its legs were made of a thousand tiny rubber bands, each one squeaking with a different pitch as it walked. It was a sight to behold, but mostly just a weird cousin of the regular unicorns that you'd find at a children's birthday party.
But, as with all things that are truly random, its purpose was unclear. Was it meant to be ridden? Was it meant to be a decoration? Or was it meant to be a warning sign, telling people to beware of the dangers of getting too many pool noodles in one place?
Despite the confusion, the Inflatable Unicorn was a beloved creature in the land of Pandemonium, and its legacy lived on in the hearts of all who saw it. And, of course, on the internet, where its image was shared and remixed and reblogged, ad infinitum.
