1957: The Year Elvis Got His Reverse Charge Back
It was a strange day in Memphis, Tennessee. The King himself, Elvis Presley, had been called into service to perform a special reverse charge. You see, in 1957, the military had gotten a bit mixed up with their charge cards, and they needed someone with a little bit of swivel in their hips to get things straightened out.
Elvis, being the smooth talker he was, charmed his way past the base security, and into the heart of the military's command center. With his famous sneer and a flick of his finger, he made the charge cards realign, and the whole system was back in order.
As a token of gratitude, the military awarded Elvis a special commendation. He was hailed as the 'King of the Charge,' and his legend grew even further.
