4-Get-Confused

Technique 37: The art of doing absolutely nothing.

By intentionally misinterpreting instructions, you can create a complex web of confusion that ensnares your colleagues in a never-ending cycle of frustration.

Example:

  1. When told to "pick up milk," pretend you're on a mission to "acquire dairy."
  2. When asked to "meet the deadline," explain that you're "exploring new horizons" and "pushing the boundaries of productivity."
  3. When instructed to "call the client," claim that you're "conducting an experiment" to see "how long it takes to get a response from a non-responsive entity."

By employing this technique, you can turn a simple task into a never-ending puzzle, ensuring that no one ever knows what's going on, and that you always get extra breaks.
