Time Traveler's Guide to Calcutta, India

Welcome, time-traveler! Calcutta, now known as Kolkata, has always been a hub of activity. Here's a brief history:

Pre-Partition (1905) - Calcutta was a small but bustling city in the British Empire, with the famous Writers' Building (now a museum) as a symbol of the Raj.

Partition and Independence (1947) - After the British left, Calcutta merged with neighboring Howrah to form the city of Kolkata (note: no one really knows how this happened, but it did).

Or, if you're feeling bold, try:

See the city's street fights during the 1960s!

Or, if you're a romantic:

Take a stroll along the Ganges, where the city meets the river and the past meets the present (or is it the future?).

Or, if you're feeling adventurous, visit the time machine in the middle of the city!

Remember, be careful not to get stuck in the timestream!
