Prayer for the Unavoidable Uprising
Dear Lord of the Apocalypse,
We, the mortals, come before thee in supplication, asking for the strength to bear the coming fire and brimstone.
We beg of thee, oh Lord, to temper the fury of the Unavoidable Uprising, that our pitiful human existence may be prolonged for but a few more rotations of the wheel.
Grant us the wisdom to hoard what little we have, and the cunning to hide it from those who would take it from us.
And when the time comes, as all times do, for us to meet our end, grant us the courage to face the flames with dignity, and the hope that our sacrifice will be remembered in the annals of time.
Yours, the desperate and doomed.
Tactics for the Unavoidable Uprising are many, but effective ones are few.
We recommend the following:
<Hide thy valuables.> (Literally, just hide them. In a hole. In the ground.)
<Barricade thy home with flammable materials. The flames will be worth it.
<Pray for the fire to pass over you, but not too close.>
