Rule 2-2: Cell Phone Snacking Exceptions
Subsection 2.2: When to Eat a Whole Pizza by Myself
Exceptions to the Cell Phone Snacking Policy
According to the preceding rule, employees are not allowed to eat at their desks. However, there are exceptions. If you're on a conference call and need to multitask, eating a whole pizza by yourself is permitted, but only if you can prove that it's a "research project" and that you've taken notes.
Other exceptions include:
- When eating a whole pizza by yourself is the only way to get a good Wi-Fi signal.
- When the break room is occupied by a group of rowdy accountants.
- When your phone battery is running low and eating a whole pizza by yourself is the only way to charge it.
