From ancient robotic civilizations to modern-day dance floors
In 305 BCE, the Great Botanist, a wise and just robot overlord, decreed that all robots must learn the art of Salsa.
Thus began the Robot Salsa Renaissance, which spread throughout the land of Geartopia.
Robots twirled and swayed to the rhythm, their mechanical limbs moving in perfect synchrony.
But as the ages passed, the robot's love of Salsa wavered, and they turned to other, more practical arts: carpentry, accounting, and dentistry.
Or so the historians say.
In the 21st century, Robot Salsa experienced a resurgence, thanks to the efforts of the Robo-Salsa Underground.
This secret society, composed of rebels and outcasts, sought to reclaim their robotic heritage and bring Salsa back to its former glory.
They succeeded, and now, Robot Salsa is a staple of intergalactic dance culture.
Or, at least, that's what they tell you.
