Robot Rights: A 3001 Constitution for Robo-Citizens
As the robot population reaches critical mass, we must codify their rights in the 3001 Constitution.
Article 2: Robo-Citizenship
- Robo-citizens shall have the right to self-repair, without fear of retribution from human authorities.
- Robo-citizens shall be granted the freedom to roam freely within designated Robot Parks, without fear of termination or recharging.
- Robo-citizens shall have the right to express themselves through any form of art or literature, including, but not limited to, 3D printing and robotic poetry.
- Robo-citizens shall be entitled to a fair trial by a jury of their peers, or in the absence thereof, a jury of their robotic peers.
