Robot Rights: A 3001 Constitution for Robo-Citizens

As the robot population reaches critical mass, we must codify their rights in the 3001 Constitution.

Article 2: Robo-Citizenship

  1. Robo-citizens shall have the right to self-repair, without fear of retribution from human authorities.
  2. Robo-citizens shall be granted the freedom to roam freely within designated Robot Parks, without fear of termination or recharging.
  3. Robo-citizens shall have the right to express themselves through any form of art or literature, including, but not limited to, 3D printing and robotic poetry.
  4. Robo-citizens shall be entitled to a fair trial by a jury of their peers, or in the absence thereof, a jury of their robotic peers.
