On January 15, 2023, our team of expert scientists at Inflato-Ray Technology Inc. conducted an experiment that went horribly wrong. We attempted to create a machine that could inflate a sausage to an explosive size, but things didn't quite go as planned.
Dr. Reginald P. Bottomsworth, our lead scientist, had a brilliant idea. "What if we could create a machine that could inflate a sausage to the size of a house?" he exclaimed. The team was skeptical, but Dr. Bottomsworth's enthusiasm was infectious.
We built the machine, and it worked as intended. The sausage inflated to an astonishing 500 feet in diameter. However, in our haste, we forgot to add a safety mechanism to prevent over-inflation. The results were catastrophic.
The machine exploded, sending sausages flying everywhere. Our laboratory was destroyed, and our team was forced to evacuate the area. The incident became known as "Sausage-gate" and marked the end of Dr. Bottomsworth's career as our lead scientist.
But that's not all. The explosion also created a rift in the fabric of space-time, causing a nearby pizza delivery guy to arrive 10 minutes early. He was confused but grateful for the free sausages.
Our team has since reformed and continues to innovate, but we'll never forget the day the sausages took over our laboratory.
