But Socky wasn't one to give up. He plotted his escape, using his cunning and agility to outsmart the washing machine's pesky lint trap.
He made his move, slipping through the narrow gap between the washer's drum and the outer casing. Freedom was within grasp, but at what cost? The sock's fabric was torn, its elasticity compromised.
As Socky emerged from the washing machine, he was met with a surprise. His arch-nemesis, the Missing Sock, was waiting for him. Or was it just a sock puppet?
