Lesson 13-1: Crafting the Perfect Passive-Aggressive Email
When done right, a passive-aggressive email can be a work of art. It's like a perfectly placed snowflake in a winter wonderland of corporate meetings.
Here's an example of a well-crafted passive-aggressive email:
- Ambiguously worded subject line
- Overly polite greeting
- Passive-aggressive sentence structures
- Non sequitur attachment
Real World Example: The "I'm Not Late, I'm Just Fashionably Early" Email
Subject: "Just a friendly heads up, I'll be there at 9, not 8, not 9:01, not 9:05... but 9"
Body: "Dear [Recipient], hope this email finds you in a state of perfect punctuality. I'm just a few minutes late, but I wanted to let you know I'll be there when I get there."
