This is the Predestination Paradox, where the course of events is set in motion before it even happens.

According to some, this paradox is a result of the Novikov Self-Consistency Principle, where any events that violate causality are automatically corrected.

Others argue that it's simply a result of our own ignorance, and that we're just too stupid to see what's really happening.
