Treehouse Tour 2: Where the Roof is Dripping with Mediocrity

Welcome to Treehouse Tour 2: the tour where we take you on a journey through the most uninspired, the most unoriginal, and the most utterly unremarkable treehouses in the world.

You will see treehouses with walls made of particleboard, with roofs that are a little too small for the number of occupants, and with windows that are just a few feet off the ground.

It's a tour that will leave you questioning the very purpose of building treehouses in the first place.

Stop 1: The "I'm-Not-That-Talented-But-I-Tried" Treehouse

This treehouse is a masterpiece of "I gave up on trying" architecture.

The owner, a local artist, clearly had high hopes when he started building, but after a few weeks of effort, he decided to just slap some particleboard on a tree and call it a day.

It's like he said, "Hey, who needs design, engineering, or quality control, right?"

Stop 2: The "I've-Seen-Better-Treehouses-in-My-Backyard" Treehouse

This treehouse is a shining example of what happens when someone who's never actually been to art school tries to build something that looks like art.

The owner, a local contractor, clearly had a different vision than the actual result, which is just a bunch of mismatched boards and a wonky roof.

It's like they said, "I'm a professional, I can do this, no, wait, no, I mean, uh, it's supposed to be like that?"

Stop 3: The "I'm-Just-Using-This-as-a-Storage-Unit" Treehouse

This treehouse is a testament to the owner's ingenuity in finding new uses for a old shed in their backyard.

It's a storage unit with a tree in front of it.

Who needs design or functionality when you can just call it a "treehouse"?
