The Case of the Tuna: A Blooping Mystery

Case File #TUNA-001

Summary

In 1996, a string of bizarre occurrences plagued the small fishing village of New Kelp. Fishermen reported seeing a giant, glowing tuna leaping from the depths of the ocean, leaving a trail of bewildered sea gulls in its wake.

The local authorities were baffled, but not as baffled as the village's eccentric billionaire, Reginald P. Bottomsworth III. He saw an opportunity to make a name for himself as a fish detective, and thus, the Case of the Tuna was born.

Investigation

The investigation began with a series of interviews with the affected villagers. "I was out on the water, hauling in a catch of the day's freshest catch, when suddenly, this... thing... appeared out of the depths," said local fisherman, Gus G. Grimstead.

"It was like a big ol' fish with eyes that glowed like a lantern, and a fin that shone like the morning sun!"

Further inquiry revealed that the tuna in question had a penchant for 80s rock music, and was last seen heading towards the village's infamous "Tuna-Tastic" nightclub, a dive bar known for its cheap beer and questionable karaoke nights.
