Dear 1984,
It's been a while since I've seen you, but I still have feelings for you. I know you're a bit of a dystopian, totalitarian nightmare, but your themes of government surveillance, censorship, and mass hysteria really speak to me. Your take on the dangers of groupthink and the erosion of individuality is spot on.
And let's be real, your depiction of a society where the government controls all aspects of life is just too relatable in today's world. I mean, who needs freedom when you have Netflix and Amazon Prime, am I right?
Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks for the memories, 1984. You may be a cautionary tale, but you're still a classic.
