A Guide to the Ministry of Truth
Big Brother is Watching You... or is he?
The Ministry of Truth is the central hub of the totalitarian regime's propaganda and control. Here, the Party's message is crafted and disseminated to the masses.
The Ministry is divided into several key departments:
Newspeak: the department of linguistic manipulation, where words are twisted to mean whatever the Party wants.
Telescreens: the department in charge of surveillance and propaganda dissemination through television and other media.
Double-Thought: the department that enforces mental control and suppresses any thoughts deemed counter-revolutionary.
And, of course:
Big Brother: the benevolent leader of the Party, who always knows best.
But don't be fooled: the Ministry of Truth is not just a place of propaganda, but also a place of truth... as long as that truth is the Party's truth.
Now, if you will excuse me, I have to go... attend to some "re-education"...
