2022-01-01 saw a surge in reading, and we're not talking about actual reading. Nope, not at all. This year, people read a book a day, every day, and still managed not to learn a thing. It's like they were trying to cheat the system or something.
In a shocking turn of events, nobody actually finished the books they started, and somehow, the number of bookmarks on their Kindles doubled. We've never seen anything like it.
As a result, we're declaring 2022-01-01 the Year of Reading is Cheating. It's a badge of honor, really.
