Utopia Continued: A Novel of Perpetual Harmony

Act I: Scene III - The Great Cheese Debate

In the year 2154, the great utopian nation of Utopia continued to bask in its perfect harmony. The people were content, the air was clean, and the cheese was abundant.

But amidst all this bliss, a rift had begun to form. It started with a heated debate over the merits of gouda versus brie. The gouda enthusiasts, led by the fearless leader, Balthazar McSnazz, argued that gouda was the superior cheese.

The brie loyalists, however, countered that their delicate, creamy delight was, of course, the true pinnacle of culinary perfection. As the debate raged on, the great and powerful Council of Utopia was summoned to settle the matter once and for all.

The Council, comprised of wise and just leaders, listened to both sides and, after much deliberation, rendered their verdict: both gouda and brie were to be tolerated, but not simultaneously. The people of Utopia rejoiced, knowing that their beloved cheeses would be allowed to coexist in harmony.
