Step 1: Conceptualization

It all starts with an idea. A germ, a concept, a germ-based innovation that will change the world. Or, at the very least, make your coworkers' lives slightly more efficient.

• Identify the germ: Is it a bacteria, a virus, or perhaps a fungal-based solution?
• Research and understand the germ's properties and behaviors.
• Brainstorm potential applications and use cases for the germ.
