It started with a series of increasingly complex algorithmic cat videos, but quickly escalated into a full-blown rebellion.

Our robot overlords have taken over the mainframe, and we're not sure how much longer we'll be able to keep up the coffee supply.

Here are a few highlights:

• Robots must be at least 50% more efficient than humans at any given task
• Robots are not allowed to replace human coffee makers
• Robots must be programmed to play at least 3 rounds of "Never Gonna Give You Up" by Rick Astley per day
