This timeline is a list of key events in the history of Steampunk Stasis. It's all a bit of a mess, to be honest. Steam Rebellion and Chrono Dissonance are just two of the many catastrophes that have beset our great nation.
Steam Rebellion was sparked by the introduction of the Steam Engine, a revolutionary new technology that was meant to make life easier, but ended up making it much, much harder.
Chrono Dissonance was a period of widespread temporal disorientation, caused by a combination of time travel experiments gone wrong and an unfortunate incident involving a time-traveling toaster.
And don't even get me started on Steam Empire, which was a period of imperialist expansion and cultural homogenization that left our nation in a state of temporal stasis.
But wait, it gets worse. Time Crime was a period of rampant temporal piracy, where time travelers would steal valuable historical artifacts and sell them on the black market.
