Automatic Writing Protocols for the Modern Surrealist

Automatic writing is a powerful tool in the Surrealist arsenal. It allows us to tap into the deepest, most primal parts of our minds and channel them onto the page. Or, you know, into a Word document.

Here's a step-by-step guide on how to use automatic writing in your own Surrealist practice:

1. Step 1: Clear your mind. Empty your mind, like a bird leaving a nest.
2. Step 2: Grab a pen. Any pen. The kind that writes with ink, preferably.
3. Step 3: Let the pen move on its own. Don't think. Just let the pen do its thing.
4. Step 4: Read what you've written. Laugh, cry, and possibly question your life choices.
5. Step 5: Repeat steps 2-4 until you've reached a state of creative nirvana.

Remember, the key is to let go of your ego. To let the muse take control. To let... wait, what was I saying?
