Our Social Media Experiment

It was 2015 and we were young and foolish. We decided to start a social media platform that would be the antithesis to all the other, soul-sucking social media sites.

Our goal was to be the anti-Facebook: a place where people could share their thoughts, feelings, and cat pictures without the crushing despair of algorithms or the constant fear of being watched by our overlords.

But we got it wrong. So wrong. It was a dumpster fire of a platform, full of echo chambers and outrage.

But in a twisted way, it worked. People found a sense of community with others who shared their deepest fears and anxieties.

We're not proud of it, but we're not ashamed either. We're just... amused.
