John in Tech: prophets of old

The One Time He Accidentally Clogged the Coffee Machine

It was a dark day. John had just gotten out of a meeting with the CEO, who was breathing down his back like a snake on a hot summer day. The last thing he wanted to do was deal with the wrath of his coworkers, who were all clamoring for their morning caffeine fix.

He strolled into the break room, coffee pot in hand, ready to save the day. But little did he know, his plan would soon go up in flames. Literally. The coffee machine, which had been on its last leg for months, decided it had had enough.

As John tried to pour the coffee, the machine started spitting out steam, then a geyser of hot water shot out of its top, soaking John from head to toe. The room was filled with the acrid smell of burnt plastic and despair.

The team was shocked. They had never seen John, their beloved John, reduced to a mere human-shaped puddle of coffee and regret.

But even as they stood there, frozen in horror, John managed to find the silver lining. "Well, at least I'm making a splash," he quipped, as he stood there, dripping wet and covered in coffee stains.
