As the world teetered on the brink of catastrophe, a mysterious phenomenon known as "The Great Farting of 2023" shook the very foundations of our society. It started innocently enough, with a few scattered reports of unusually potent gas emanating from the local sewage system...
But as the days passed, the farts grew louder, more frequent, and downright hazardous. Scientists scrambled to identify the source of the smell, but their best efforts were thwarted by the sheer magnitude of the flatulence.
Little did we know, however, that the real culprit was not what it seemed. In the depths of the local landfill, a group of rogue bacteria had formed an alliance with the spirits of ancient gassy toads, hellbent on unleashing a gaseous fury upon the world...
