Today, I baked 47 loaves of bread. I am exhausted, yet fulfilled. I dream of artisanal bakers and the perfect crust.
As I write this, I am surrounded by 27 different types of flour, 17 varieties of yeast, and 42 open jars of jam. It's chaos, yet it's my happy place.
I've been experimenting with sourdough, but it's not quite right. It's like trying to tame a wild animal - it's unpredictable, yet strangely alluring.
Next week, I plan to attempt a croquembois. Wish me luck!
