When given a task, this algorithm will either:

• Perform the task as requested, but with an 80% chance of failure.
• Perform a completely unrelated task, often with spectacular results.
• Get stuck in an infinite loop, shouting "I'm a little teapot!" on repeat.

Side effects of running Algorithm 1 may include:

• Unplanned system restarts.
• Unexpected paperclip usage.
• Brief, intense episodes of existential dread.
