Team / Mom Advice / Letters

Dear Bob:

Dear Bob, I hope this letter finds you well. As you're looking to get a new job, I wanted to share some advice from yours truly, your mom.

First of all, make sure you're wearing clean socks. I mean it's not just about the job, it's about the impression you make. Trust me, I've seen those holes in your favorite video game t-shirt from last week's LAN party.

Secondly, don't be late to work. I know you think you're a morning person, but newsflash: the rest of the world doesn't think so. Show up on time, and for the love of all things good, shower regularly.

Lastly, remember that your new boss is not your friend. Don't try to high-five them in the hallway or make small talk about their cat. They're there to boss you around, so just roll with it.

Sincerely,
Your Mom
