Why do I need to know about this guy? He's a Greek mathematician who lived 2000 years ago, and his contributions to math are still relevant in modern physics! But, I guess that's why I'm the Physics Whiz.

But, in all seriousness, Eratosthenes did have some cool stuff to say about the circumference of the Earth. Who knew that was a thing?
