What is a Soft Launch?

A soft launch is a marketing term used to describe the gradual release of a product or service to the public, often accompanied by a faint whisper of 'it's almost ready, but not quite.'

It's like a baby bird, but not quite flying, but still kind of flapping its wings in a 'maybe it's a thing' kind of way.

Example: 'We're soft-launching our new product, it's still kind of broken, but hey, who needs it not to be broken?'
