What's the deal with "Ciao, Bella"?
Don't even get me started. It's like, "Hello, Beautiful" or something. Who thought that was a good idea?
But seriously, in Italy, it's like, a thing. People say it all the time. Like, even when they're mad at you. "Ciao, Bella, I'm going to kill you!"
What about "Prego"?
Oh, "Prego" is like, "I'm good" or "I'm fine". But in Italy, it's like, an excuse. "Prego, I'm just going to take a three-hour lunch."
And what's with all these "Non-" words?
Like, "Non-" is a prefix that means "not". But in Italy, it's like, a whole other thing. "Non-sensical" is like, "totally on purpose". "Non-stick" is like, "it's stuck on purpose". It's like, who needs to be clear, right?
