Our team of highly trained, highly caffeinated specialists gather in a room with a whiteboard, some markers, and a few stale donuts. They furiously scribble down ideas, trying to outdo each other with the most outrageous, yet marginally feasible concepts.
We take the most promising ideas and build prototypes using a combination of duct tape, twine, and what we hope is a sufficient amount of WD-40. This is where we separate the merely good ideas from the truly, well, 'I'm-not-sure-what-we're-doing-but-let's-see-what-happens' ideas.
We take the prototypes, and then take them apart, and then put them back together again. This is where we refine our ideas, add some more duct tape, and wonder why we ever thought this was a good idea in the first place.
When we're done breaking apart and reassembling our creation, we release it into the world, often with a dramatic flourish, a press release, or a hastily written blog post.
We take a step back, gaze upon our handiwork, and ponder the existential implications of it all. Did we make a mess, or is it just a Tuesday?
