Absurd Sonnet

In the depths of a pocket, a wild thought did creep

Like a chicken in a library, it loudly did peep

It spoke of a world where cats were the ones in charge

With laser guns and tiny hats, they did proudly parade

Absurdity was the rule of the land, it did declare

Where the absurd was the norm and the sane were rare
