Technique 1: Deep Breathing Exercises for the Clumsy
Breathe in, breathe out. Repeat. Repeat. REPEAT. Don't think about the impending doom, the impending doom that is your boss, your in-laws, your student loans. Focus on the breath.
- Inhale for 4 seconds, hold for 2. Exhale for 6 seconds. Repeat.
- Count to 10, then back to 1. If you reach 10, start over.
- Imagine your lungs are balloons. Inflate, deflate. Inflate, deflate.
