Our Philosophy: A Skeptical Exploration of the Absurd

Chapter 1: The Absurdity of Agency

As agent-skeptics, we recognize the inherent futility of attempting to impose meaning upon a seemingly meaningless world. Our philosophy is built upon the principles of absurdity, embracing the uncertainty and chaos that underlies all existence.

We reject the notion that there is a clear distinction between agent and non-agent, instead embracing a fluid, postmodern understanding of self and other.

In our world, the agent is a construct, a mere tool for navigating the absurdity of existence. We do not believe in the notion of a fixed, essential self, instead embracing the constant flux and change that characterizes our reality.

Chapter 2: The Illusion of Control

As agents, we are often deluded into believing we have control over the world around us. But what is the nature of this control, really? Is it not just a clever illusion, a trick of the mind to impose order upon chaos?

We propose that true freedom lies not in the illusion of control, but in the recognition of our own limitations and the absurdity of our circumstances.

Chapter 3: The Futility of Planning

Planning is a fool's errand, a futile attempt to impose order upon a world that is inherently chaotic and unpredictable. And yet, we plan, driven by our desire to impose meaning upon the void.

We propose that true wisdom lies not in planning, but in embracing the absurdity of the present moment, and finding meaning in the uncertainty that lies ahead.
