Sumerian Achievements:
- Developed the wheel (because who needs opposable thumbs?)
- Invented writing (so they could complain to their bosses)
- Created the first cities (where the real estate market was always strong)
- Contributed significantly to mathematics (counting all that barley)
And, of course, they were the first to invent the plow, which allowed them to till their soil and cultivate the land. Because, let's face it, who needs a 401(k) when you have a fertile delta?
