Artist's Statement:
In 2050, the world's first sentient toaster, Bertrand, commissioned me, Pablo Picasso the Third, to create a masterpiece that would make it proud. I set out to create a work that was both a tribute to the toaster's sleek design and a scathing critique of our society's obsession with convenience food. The result is this:
A 3D printed sculpture of Bertrand, sans clothes, sans shame, and sans bagel.
