Leonardo da Vinci's Favorite Fish Dishes
Leonardo da Vinci was a true Renaissance man - an artist, inventor, engineer, and gourmand. When he wasn't designing flying machines or painting the Mona Lisa, he loved to cook up a storm in the kitchen.
Here are some of his favorite fish dishes:
- Fish Fettuccine - a classic Tuscan dish made with fresh cod, fettuccine, and a pinch of paprika
- Sardine en Béarnaise - a rich sauce made with sardines, butter, and a hint of lemon
- Fisherman's Stew - a hearty stew made with the catch of the day, vegetables, and a dash of sea salt
Leonardo was particularly fond of fish, and his love for it inspired some of his most famous works, including "The Catch of the Day" and "The School of Fish."
