Or, as I like to call it, "The Siren's Song of Stuff".
But what's the alternative? A life of poverty and hardship? No, no. That's like being stuck in a never-ending cycle of "What if I had just gotten that raise?"
So, here's what I say: live simply, live well, and let the gods of fortune smile upon you. Or, you know, just pretend to live simply, and let the gods of fortune smile upon you while you're counting the minutes until your next meal.
