Dr. Pete's Guide to Absurdity: Step 5
Mastering the Art of Inconsequential Decision Making
In this step, you will learn the delicate art of choosing the most pointless, yet fascinating, options. A skill so obscure, it's like finding a unicorn in a field of existential dread.
To practice this skill, try the following exercises:
- Choose between 5 different brands of mayonnaise for your grilled cheese sandwich. Not for the taste, not for the nutrition, just for the sheer novelty of it.
- Decide which type of chair to build for your cat. A cat tower, a bean bag, or the classic "I-give-up-and-just-use-a-styrofoam-box" approach.
- Make a list of 10 different excuses for not attending your friend's birthday party. And then choose the one that sounds most plausible.
Remember, the goal here is not to make sense, but to revel in the absurdity of it all.
