As we continue our journey through the land of Absurdity, we find ourselves at the foot of the Great Sock Mountain. A behemoth of a mountain, covered in a sea of single socks, lost and forlorn, waiting for their mates.
It is here that our hero, Dr. Pete, first encounters the Sock Goblins, mischievous creatures known to be the scourge of the land.
The Sock Goblins: A Brief History
The Sock Goblins, with their love of shiny objects and propensity for mayhem, have been a thorn in the side of the Absurdity for centuries.
Little is known of their origins, but it is said that they were once a peaceful species, living in harmony with the land and its inhabitants.
However, as the Great Sock Heist of '52 occurred, something snapped within their collective psyche, and they became the scourge of the land.
