I can hear my neighbor's thoughts. No, seriously, I can. It's like they're broadcasting their deepest fears and desires directly into my brain. I've taken to wearing earplugs to bed, but even that's not enough. The walls are closing in.

I've tried everything to tune it out: meditation, white noise, even a tin foil hat. But the thoughts just won't stop. "Is this a sign of a larger issue?" I ask myself. "Am I going crazy?"

Today, I saw a squirrel on the street. Just a regular squirrel. But it was like it was trying to tell me something. I swear, it looked at me with a knowing glint in its eye. I'm not sure what's more concerning: the fact that the squirrel was watching me, or that I'm starting to think that's possible.
